Welcome to Center United Methodist Church!
We open wide doors to all who hunger and thirst for God and His righteousness, we seek to provide rest for weary spirits, comfort for troubled hearts and to inspire all to follow Jesus Christ in purity of life in unselfish service to human- kind. Established in 1823, Center United Methodist Church stands today as a beacon of light, a ray of hope and a house of refuge for the people in the community. From its humble beginnings as a Sunday school class, today Center’s programs for Christian study and fellowship touch all ages, from children to senior adults. Center continues to expand its Outreach ministries, answering needs in the local community and around the world by involving all groups within the church. Most importantly, Center continues to maintain that welcoming and nurturing “church family” atmosphere.
